While boss fighting isn’t the primary goal for ARK: Survival Evolved, it’s one way of obtaining precious loot that will make surviving the Crystal Isles much easier. But, before players can fight these bosses, they’ll need to gather eighteen Artifacts, which are hidden in various areas of Crystal Isles.

Devourer Artifact

Coordinates: 14.2 - 45.5

Gamers can find the Devourer Artifact at the top of a snowcapped mountain. The safest (and fastest) method of reaching that Artifact in ARK: Survival Evolved is by riding a flying dinosaur, like the Pteranodon.

Stalker Artifact

Coordinates:

14. 1 - 25. 3 (On land) 13. 7 - 24. 3 (Underwater)

To reach the Stalker Artifact, players will need a diving suit (with a full oxygen tank) or an aquatic companion. Once underwater, players should head to the 13.7 - 24.3 coordinates, which is all the way at the bottom.

Shadows Artifact

Coordinates: 25.0 - 71.2

The Shadows Artifact is found deep within the Hidden Grotto on Crystal Isles.

Strong Artifact

Coordinates: 31.2 - 50.6

Players can find this Artifact deep inside an icy cave. This cave has several rivers that can cause hypothermia, so players should avoid swimming in it as much as they can.

Depths Artifact

Coordinates:

31. 9 - 30. 2 (On Land) 31. 8 - 32. 3 (Underwater)

The Depths Artifact is found deep within a lake (31.9 - 30.2) inside a fiery cave. Once at the land coordinates, players should jump into the lake and head to the 31.8 - 32.3 coordinates.

Lost Artifact

Coordinates:

31. 2 48. 5 (On Land) 18. 5 - 40. 8 (Underwater)

The Lost Artifact is the hardest to get to since it involves a lot of underwater traveling, so players should bring with them plenty of oxygen tanks and a fast aquatic dinosaur. The Artifact will be found at the 18.5 - 40.8 coordinates, near some glowing seagrass.

Skylord Artifact

Coordinates: 39.7 - 44.5 (Underwater)

Oddly enough, the Skylord Artifact is located behind a waterfall. While this may seem an odd place to put a “Skylord” Artifact, it isn’t the oddest thing players will come across in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Immune Artifact

Coordinates: 30.0 - 24.0

The Immune Artifact is located within a forest, so players should be wary of predators hiding among the foliage. The Artifact itself is inside a log overhanging a chasm.

Pack Artifact

Coordinates: 48.5 - 75.4

The Pack Artifact is one of the harder relics to find in ARK: Survival Evolved, mainly due to the number of dangerous creatures found at its coordinates. Players should ensure they have the best weapons with them before heading to this area.

Massive Artifact

Coordinates: 54.8 - 52.2 (Underwater)

This Artifact can be found underwater. Players should be cautious near these coordinates since there are plenty of Diseased Leeches lurking around.

Clever Artifact

Coordinates: 57.0 - 33.1

Players can find the Clever Artifact inside a cave that can be accessed with a flying dinosaur or a handy grappling hook. Once players obtain this Artifact, they can summon Broodmother Lysrix.

Hunter Artifact

Coordinates: 66.5 - 40.8

The Hunter Artifact is yet another relic that can only be reached via a flying dinosaur. Players will find it at the top of a sandy mountain.

Destroyer Artifact

Coordinates: 67.2 - 64.6 (Underwater)

At the coordinates above, players will notice a large lake with a small island in the middle. Players should jump into the lake and swim underwater until they find the Destroyer Artifact.

Gatekeeper Artifact

Coordinates: 68.4 - 50.5

Players can locate the Gatekeeper Artifact in the desert region. The Artifact can be seen inside a canyon at the above coordinates.

Brute Artifact

Coordinates: 71.7 - 77.3

The Brute Artifact’s coordinates are surrounded by dangerous fauna. New players should ensure they have plenty of healing items before venturing to this area.

Devious Artifact

Coordinates: 74.8 - 42.9

The Devious Artifact is located at the top of a rocky cliff. Once again, players will need to use a flying dinosaur to reach it.

Crag Artifact

Coordinates: 76.3 - 41.3

The Crag Artifact can be found near the Grave of the Tyrants. Once players have the Destroyer and Gatekeeper Artifacts, they’ll have a complete Scorched Earth set.

Cunning Artifact

Coordinates: 83.1 - 25.5 (Underwater)

The Cunning Artifact can be found deep underwater among several rocks. Players should bring along a beefy aquatic creature while looting the Cunning Artifact, since it’s surrounded by dangerous aquatic predators.
