As seen in the leaked stills from Bones404, however, the Centrurion and Ninja both look extremely convincing as the first two DLC heroes, for not only are the in-game models consistent with the themes, art, and design styles found within For Honor, but also their physiques line up with a couple of the silhouettes seen in a season pass image that surfaced online about a couple of months ago. Of course, it’s important to note that Ubisoft did not confirm then which heroes would be added first, nor has the publisher and developer acknowledged the veracity of this particular leak.
As far as the potential factions for the Centurion and Ninja are concerned, the former will likely take up arms with the Knight camp, while the latter will almost assuredly be one of the options for the Samurai class if they are to be the first two DLC characters. Furthermore, while it looks as if the Ninja will wield a pair of kamas, with the Roman Centurion’s hands hanging below the screenshot’s framing, there’s no telling what kind of weapon the figure could be handling.
Just prior to For Honor’s release date in back in February, Ubisoft promised that six heroes will be added to the action game post-launch, and that they would be included in pairs. Should the Centurion and Ninja actually be the characters developers had in mind for the first two DLC heroes, then fans should expect to see them at the beginning of the next season of Faction War. With this being the case, Ubisoft will share official supplementary details before the end of the current season.
Beyond the possibility of the Centurion and Ninja being added to For Honor, there’s no telling which class and warrior type the next four characters will be. Even so, Ubisoft will likely make sure to distribute the new DLC heroes evenly out among the game’s Samurai, Viking, and Knight classes.
For Honor is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
